New and new players come and enter our ranks, there was a ladder reset recently, forum activity has increased greatly, and "a new generation of shamans is upon us" (Piemonger). Still, what do the new members find when entering our website? A note from March saying stuff is getting cleaned up... I believe an update of our website is important for us at this point. Much of this work of course is up to our glorious chief, but I for one would help in any way I can.

Indeed. Update the site blade, or prepare to die.

Yar I'll see if I can add some updates in the new future. Any specifics you have in mind would be appreciated. For the Warcraft 3 section anyway, I'll probably just mark the SC section as closed for maintenance.

Haligali,
My suggestions for updating the website:
Main page - Good, but it should say we are updating, we are in a revival stage, and have a recent date greeting the visitor. Some important current activities (solo ladder competition, DOTA professionalism, holy's map testing) could also be mentioned, just to wet people's appetite...
Members - link works, OK
Players - link works, OK
History - Very good writing, I enjoyed reading it. But for me, who is very new here, it sounds like the ancient age. Would be nice to continue this history, so it links the past to the present... Beaver could do it mainly I guess, but older members can help out - I can also help with the "modern age" section if necessary.
Rules - Excellent, no need to change, I believe this ancient writing has stood the test of time. But - Why are links below History intended? They are all logically independent units...
Ranks - Should be updated. If specific tasks are indeed associated with certain officers, it should be spelled out. If not, dont bother, just give the list of shamans etc.
Contact - ??
Forum - Link works, OK
Allies - Nothing there, OK, we are not in a preparation for war, so we do not need allies, but we do have some friendly clans who may qualify as "allies"...
Join - Looks good
So these are my detailed suggestions. I really like the structure of the page, what we need is minor updates. Not a lot of work I believe. Once again, I am ready to help if I can.

I've gone through and fixed all the pages in the Warcraft 3 section. If you see any errors or inconsistencies still in there, let me know.
Part of the reason the site so rarely sees any maintenance is that it's a mess. There are currently 68 pages, the vast majority of which aren't used (we used to have over a 100, I deleted alot of them about a year ago). We've had half a dozen different webmasters, of which I was the only one who made any attempt to organize the site and keep it consistent. The site has also been completely rebuilt from the ground up *3* times, all by different webmasters, none of whom did a very good job removing old links or keeping the code clean. I run into areas where a single line of text has half a dozen different formats (italics, bold, etc), followed up by some blank space which also has formatting (duble yew tee eff, why would you put formatting on a space with nothing in it?).

I'm planning on getting back to map making after a nearly 2 or so month rest, so I'll be sending you the AoS map shortly, Blade. Thus you might want to make a download or map area on the site when you get around to it.

I'll come up with something once you're back into mapmaking.
